Afia Schwarzenegger has taken to social media to announce that televangelist Nana Agradaa is expected to be released from Nsawam female pr!son on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, sparking celebrations among her fans online.
This comes after the Amasaman High Court reduced Nana Agradaa’s original 15-year sentence to just 12 months on February 5, 2026, ruling that the initial sentence was excessive.
Afia’s announcement aligns with what Agradaa’s lawyer, Richard Asare Baffour, confirmed in an interview with Starr FM, that March 3 is the earliest possible date Agradaa can be freed under Ghana’s pr!son remission scheme, which allows a sentence to be divided into thirds, with the state taking one-third and the inmate serving the remaining two-thirds.
Agradaa also known as Mama Pat was c,onvicted of charlatanic advertising and d+fr+uding by f,alse pretence after allegedly running a money-d,oubling scheme through her ministry, with over 1,000 people reportedly handing over large sums of cash.
