Sista Afia prays for strength and courage for Nana Akua Addo amid alleged assault
Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has expressed concern over the alleged assault of Ghanaian fashion icon Nana Akua Addo by her husband, following videos and images of the incident that have circulated widely on social media.
In a social media post on October 6, 2026, after reports of the incident emerged, Sista Afia said she understands the pain Nana Akua Addo had experienced because she had been through a similar situation and knows the emotional toll it could take.
She prayed for God to give Nana Akua Addo strength and courage to rediscover herself, adding that she deserves peace, love and many more.

“I genuinely admire you, and seeing what you’re going through touched me deeply. I understand that kind of pain because I’ve been there too, and I know the emotional weight that comes with it. I pray God gives you the strength and courage to rediscover yourself. You deserve peace, love, and so much more. Please know that someone out here is quietly rooting for you,” she wrote.
The musician’s comments were made amid the circulation of multiple videos showing Nana Akua Addo involved in a heated confrontation with members of her husband’s family, while other clips appear to show her being physically assaulted by her husband.
