Ghanaian celebrity Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as LilWin, has alleged that his life is being threatened due to his intention to endorse a political party in the upcoming 2024 elections.
LilWin, a well-known Kumawood actor, had previously announced his plan to disclose his chosen party and release a campaign song on December 1st. However, in an Instagram video, LilWin shared that he has been receiving menacing phone calls from unidentified individuals, urging him not to create a campaign song for any political party.
Although the callers did not disclose their party affiliations, they explicitly advised LilWin against releasing any politically motivated music. Despite the threats, LilWin remains resolute in his decision, stating that he is willing to face the consequences and proceed with the release of his song. He did, however, establish a condition, stating that if the offenders reimburse him for the $1,500 studio fee, payments made to his lyricists, and other associated expenses, he may reconsider his decision.
