Former Ghana’s Most Beautiful contestant and media personality Gayobi Achaawa Sackey has shared her first-ever concert experience at the GTBank-sponsored GTCO Music Concert 2025, calling Shatta Wale’s performance “otherworldly.”
In a videot, Achaawa recounted arriving at the VVIP section and being immediately swept up by the crowd’s energy.
“When Shatta Wale’s name came up, the police couldn’t control the crowd. It was as if everyone was possessed. I even saw a girl singing along, she screamed, and then collapsed,” she said.
She described the performance as marathon-like, lasting hours from night into morning.
“I always wondered how people stay for Shatta Wale’s shows until daybreak. This time, I stayed,” she added.
Achaawa highlighted the intensity and charisma of the dancehall star.
“When Shatta Wale appeared, you realize he’s not just human. He’s like a demigod. I don’t think he fully knows how deeply people love him,” she said.
She also shared vivid moments from the performance, including his stage outfits.
“Shatta Wale came on stage fully dressed with a hijab and left half naked,” she noted.
She wrapped up by mentioning her exhaustion and the responsibilities awaiting her the next day, while emphasizing how unforgettable the concert was.
“Hey Wale, I need to get ready for work now,” she said.
