Ghanaian highlife artiste Kwabena Kwabena has dismissed long-standing rumours suggesting he is gay, describing the claim as the most outrageous allegation he has encountered in his career.
Speaking in an interview with Elsie Lamar on Talkertainment, the ‘Asor’ hitmaker said he has heard several strange stories about himself over the years, but being labelled as gay stands out as the most unbelievable.
“Rumours about myself are all crazy, but the craziest is that I’m gay. I think that’s the craziest,” he stated.
Kwabena Kwabena said he does not understand what may have fueled such speculation, noting that people often make assumptions based on outward appearances without truly knowing someone.
“We live in an environment where people judge others based on appearance, and that is very deceptive. Before you judge someone, you need to have an encounter with them,” he added.
The musician reiterated that he is straight and strongly attracted to women, urging the public to rethink how they form opinions about others.
His comments come amid renewed conversations on social media about celebrity lifestyles and public perception, with the artiste choosing to directly address the rumours and set the record straight.
