Efia Odo is a Ghanaian actress, musician and socialite

Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo, has strongly defended reality TV personality Djifa Isabella Aicha Van Staalduinen, following the criticism over her conduct during Asake’s performance in London.

Efia Odo has condemned individuals describing Djifa as a “fake baddie” after she declined to participate in a stage interaction with the musician on stage, arguing that being a baddie does not mean a woman must be promiscuous or careless.

Djifa was criticised for refusing to grind on a man, with some people questioning her status as a baddie.

However, Efia Odo argued that if Djifa had agreed to the interaction, the same people would’ve tagged her a “hoe”.

In a post shared on social media, Efia Odo insisted that a woman could be confident, attractive and fashionable while maintaining personal boundaries.

Efia Odo speaks on why she stopped ‘constantly attacking’ politicians publicly

“You people mistake being a baddie for being promiscuous, and that’s the fucking problem!!! A woman doesn’t want to grind on a man, so you insult her and call her a ‘fake baddie.’ And if she did, you’d call her a hoe. Being a baddie doesn’t mean she has to perform for your approval. She can be confident, sexy AND have boundaries! Djifa is a fuckn baddie you people can hug transformer !!” Efia Odo wrote.

Efia Odo’s comments followed videos from Nigerian musician Asake’s performance on October 15, 2026, which circulated on social media.

During the performance, Asake attempted to lift Djifa and place her on his thigh as part of his trademark stage act. However, Djifa did not allow him to lift her.

The videos showed the musician appearing to walk away from the interaction after the reality TV personality declined his attempt.

The moment quickly attracted attention online, with some social media users criticising Djifa and describing her as a “fake baddie”.
