Serwaa Amihere advises women to prioritise self-care and personal hygiene

Media personality and lawyer Serwaa Amihere has urged women to pay greater attention to their mental health, appearance and personal hygiene.

Speaking in a video shared on social media on Sunday, September 13, 2026, Serwaa Amihere encouraged women to always look well-kept and presentable, regardless of their budget.

She advised women to pay attention to details such as their hair, clothing and fragrance, stressing that smelling good does not necessarily require buying expensive perfumes.

According to her, women should consider keeping a body splash or fragrance in their bags so they can refresh themselves when necessary.

“I’m here to tell you that as a woman, I need you to really take care of yourself. Take care of your mental health, take care of how you look, what you wear, how you smell, the kind of fragrance that you wear,” she said.

Serwaa Amihere continued: “Make sure that you’re always keeping a body splash or one fragrance in your bag. Make sure that your hair is always looking well-kept. Make sure that you’re always well put together.”

She said looking good and maintaining a pleasant scent could be achieved without spending excessively, urging women to make self-care a priority.

“You don’t need to break the bank to do this. You can look really good on a good budget, but please make sure you’re always looking after yourself,” she said.

Serwaa Amihere further encouraged women to choose fragrances that suit them and leave a pleasant impression wherever they go.

“I want you to walk past someone or people and have them turn their heads and say that lady smells really good. You don’t have to buy the most expensive perfume to do that, but make sure you’re wearing the right perfume,” she stated.

She added: “This is a piece of unsolicited advice this hot afternoon.”
