A 12-year-old girl, Vida Kwarteng, who was allegedly abused by her mother, has received treatment and is expected to return to the Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Hospital on March 12 for further treatment.
She will return to the Psychiatric Unit for further examination.
In an interview with the victim on March 11, she confirmed she’s in a good condition even though the doctors have not yet declared her fit.
Meanwhile, her uncle, Peter Kwarteng who took Vida to the hospital told 3news that even though the doctors told them she is in good condition, she is expected to return for further examination.
He added that the Police have assured them of justice for Vida.
He advised parents that even though children can be stubborn, they should take caution in handling or disciplining them.
