A man claiming to be a Russian native has come under intense criticism online after sharing videos of private encounters with several Ghanaian women on social media platforms.

The man, who identifies himself as Yaytseslav from Russia, is said to frequent the Accra Mall area where he approaches shoppers and passersby, strikes up conversations, and records their interactions. He later shares these recordings on his social media pages.

Checks show that he operates active TikTok and YouTube accounts where he uploads videos documenting these encounters. In many of the clips, he engages women in conversation, persuades them to exchange phone numbers, and in some cases convinces them to visit his residence.

Reports indicate that about 40 such videos featuring Ghanaian women are currently circulating on his platforms.

While the content on TikTok and YouTube is free to access, he allegedly runs a private Telegram channel where subscribers pay a monthly fee of about five dollars to access exclusive content. It is alleged that more explicit footage is shared there.

In one widely discussed case, a woman he met at the mall was later seen in a video at his residence wearing a large towel, suggesting she had just freshened up.

The situation has sparked public outrage. Many social media users have raised concerns about privacy, consent, and the ethics of recording and monetising such encounters. Critics have called on authorities to investigate whether the women involved gave informed consent for both the recording and public distribution of the videos.
