After posting a troubling prognosis for politician Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, often known as NAPO, on social media, Ghanaian prophet Telvin Adjei Sowah sparked uproar.
As the party’s flagbearer in the 2024 elections, Dr. Bawumia’s running mate and vice presidential candidate was the former Manhyia MP who had previously been the Minister of Energy and Education in the previous NPP government.
He was a strong favorite to run alongside Dr. Bawumia in 2028, according to many political analysts, because of his strong endorsement of Bawumia prior to the latest primaries.
Prophet Telvin Sowah, however, stated in an interview posted on TikTok on February 4, 2026, that it was probable NAPO would not be chosen as the NPP’s vice presidential candidate in the upcoming elections.
Many Ghanaians expressed confidence in the man of God’s ability to predict the future, despite the divided online responses to his prophecy.
