Rapper D-Black has expressed disappointment over how some netizens, mainly Ghanaians, have taken to social media to compare Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy to Nigerian artiste Young Jonn.
It all began when Nigerian artiste Young Jonn, on Friday, September 25, 2026, held a sold-out concert at the OVO Arena Wembley.
After videos from the event went viral on social media, some netizens took to X to compare Young Jonn to Stonebwoy, teasing the Dancehall artiste over what they described as a curtain-raiser show.

According to netizens, Young Jonn’s concert was sold out.
Following the comparison online, D-Black, in a tweet made on September 26, 2026, called on individuals fond of propagating such agendas to refrain from doing so.
According to D-Black, Nigerians love to support their artistes, adding that this is one of the reasons why Young Jonn was able to fill the venue.

He also noted that Young Jonn cannot compare himself to Stonebwoy so far as catalogue and stagecraft are concerned.
“Stop this!!! Nigerians dey support their own pass we. This is why! Stonebwoy in catalogue and stagecraft alone, Young no reach yet!” he said.
