Showboy, the Ghanaian rapper residing in the United States, has said unequivocally that Ghana’s vocalist Mugeez of the R2Bees should be referred to be the Afrobeats of Africa, rather than Nigeria’s Wizkid and Davido.

Wizkid’s great success in London, when he rocked the O2 Arena with his “Made In Lagos” tour, prompted him to make his contributions. After rocking the stage with famous melodies from his “Made In Lagos” album as well as some of his old hits, Wizkif offered his fantastic fans and audience a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the multi-purpose event hall.

Bella Shmurda, Tems, King Promise, Buju, and Chris Brown, among other African-International stars who performed alongside Wizkid, wowed the audience with incredible performances.

According to Showboy, Mugeez of the R2Bees is also capable of attracting such a large crowd and thrilling them with tense performances. He remarked in a tweet that Mugueez can achieve comparable heights to Wizkid if he is given the backing he need.

He also remarked that Mugueez is a gifted musician who, rather than Wizkid or Davido, should be considered as Africa’s Afrobeats.

He wrote; If nobody fit pull that crowd..the mugeez i know can do it with his talent if he has the support … nobody talented pass mugeez … herh that man get super wonders … all am saying is …. mugeez can also do it solo … mugeez is the afrobeatz of Africa not wizkid or Davido
